Happy New Year with Arthur

There you were, slouching on the couch, watching T.V in your pajamas. Your boyfriend, Arthur Kirkland, was out - for work you thought. You sighed, it was the 31st of December and you had nothing to do! All was quiet...
And then, as if the world wanted to mess with you, there were sudden knocks at the door, making you jump in surprise.
You shut off the T.V and went over to answer the door, fixing your hair while walking in your soft, fluffy (f/c) slippers. The door of your house opened and revealed Arthur, smirking. His blond locks blew in the calm breeze and his eyes shone sparkling emerald. He was also wearing the beige trench coat you had given him for his birthday, and you saw flowers behind his back.
"Lovely pajamas dear," He said, looking at your (f/c) checkered pajamas, handing you a bouquet of white and light pink roses and leaning in for a kiss.
You laughed, took the flowers, and pecked him on his lips, "Yes, it is 11 o'clock Arthur, I think people would be wearing pajamas at this time at night. Anyway, what are you doing here? What about work?"
"Yes, about that ____ , do you mind getting dressed?" His smile grew, "I would like to take you out tonight."
And with that, you let him in and rushed upstairs to get dressed. He said he was taking you out tonight, Arthur always took you out to formal events, so you figured - you had to wear something formal. You threw on an elegant, (length) black halter dress, wore the sparkling emerald necklace, matching earrings and the bracelet Arthur had given you for Valentines' Day, found your black (height) heeled shoes, grabbed your small hand bag and finished off with light make-up. To your surprise, all this only took you 20 minutes!
You made your way downstairs, seeing Arthur rise from his seat and gaze up at you. You also noticed that Arthur was in a black tuxedo, looking handsome as ever. You finally stepped down the last stair step and was face to face with Arthur.
"You look dazzling ____," He said, a faint blush dusting his cheeks.
"You don't look bad yourself, Arthur," You smiled, also blushing. He took your coat, and held the door open for you. 'A true gentleman', you giggled in your head.
Outside, the moon was large, the stars twinkled and, to top the night of, there was a spotless white limo waiting in front of your doorstep! A man, dressed in the usual chauffeur uniform, opened the door and without a second thought you jumped in - pulling Arthur along with you.
"Arthur..." You said, as you settled in the limo, still holding onto his hand, "Where are we going?"
He kissed you on the forehead and replied, "It's a secret~"
Your heart fluttered; you always felt so warm when you were with him. You placed your head on his shoulder and he wrapped an arm around your shoulders as you both began to chat about the new year. The atmosphere was so comfortable and you wished it lasted forever but - the world wanted to mess with you again. The limo slowly came to a stop and the door opened. Arthur stepped out first and held his arm out and you gladly took it, snuggling closer to him. All the while, he was blushing several shades of red.
He led you to a building that you knew. The World Meeting Hall in (your country)?
You giggled, "Arthur, why are you taking me to work?" as you both walked behind the building and into the very large garden behind it.
He scratched the back of his head, "Actually, I told Alfred to ---"
And with that a very loud American, who was standing on a stage with decorative U.S.A banners along it, shouted in the microphone, "The fireworks will be starting in 10!!!" And the crowd below, which was made up of many countries you knew well, chattered and cheered.
You gazed up at Arthur who just smirked and said "The fireworks are for you and for our New Year, love."
"9!" Alfred yelled, jumping up and down with excitement.
"8!" Every country chanted.
"7!"
"6!"
"5!"
"4!"
You couldn't contain it anymore, Arthur has done so many sweet things for you today, you wanted to say 'thank you'. And so, you went on your toes, sweetly pressed your lips on Arthur's and wrapped your arms around his neck. He gently kissed you back as he pulled you closer.
"3!"
"2!"
"1!"
The loud bangs and fizzes made you both break the kiss and gaze up at the brightly lit sky, still holding each other close. Your eyes sparkled in amazement, they were so beautiful and so bright; the fireworks lasted for a good 20 minutes and you enjoyed every second of it, but all good things soon have to come to an end. After all the excitement, all the countries said "Happy New Year" in their own special languages. There was a lovely peaceful atmosphere in the air.
"____." Arthur said, making you look at him.
He was on his knee looking up at you, a red box in his hand, you heart felt warm. You covered your hand over your gaping mouth. 'Wait, is he... no.. He IS proposing to me?!' you screamed in your head.
"____, you accept and love me for who I am and you are so special to me, I don't think I live another day without you by my side. I love you more than I love the world, because you are my world, my everything," He said, opening the box, revealing a large glistening diamond on a platinum ring, "so will you marry me?" He asked as the crowd was gradually silenced, all waiting for your answer.
Tears stung your eyes as you hugged Arthur, who rocked a bit and almost fell, "Yes, Arthur, a hundred times, yes!" He slipped the ring on your finger and kissed your knuckles. Suddenly there were wolf-whistles, cheers and many countries surrounded you both.
"Dude - I totally just filmed that!" Alfred said, holding a camera.
"Mon cher~ Congratulations with Eybro-- I mean Arthur _____!" Francis laughed.
"Congratulations on your engagement ______-san," Kiku said politely as usual.
"Ve~ So when is the wedding ______~?!" Feliciano asked, giggling in excitement.
You received hundreds of pleasant comments and good luck wishes you felt all warm and fuzzy inside. 'So this is what it feels like to be engaged, huh?' you asked yourself as you looked up at smiling Arthur, 'He looks pretty happy," you giggled as you slipped your hand in his.
The New Years' World Party soon came to an end after dancing, pigging out on food from other countries and spending precious time with your new fiancé Arthur Kirkland. Arthur led you back to the limo, which had reappeared, you sat in, and laid your head on his shoulder. It had been a long day, you were tired and so your eyelids fell softly.
You felt Arthur's soft lips touch your forehead and say "Good-night, soon to be Mrs. ___ Kirkland,"
Your lips formed a smile and you hugged him closer, you were looking forward to the new year with your new fiancé Arthur Kirkland.
