Awaking from your deep slumber, amber streaks of light slipping in through the brown blinds, you gazed sleepily at your digital clock by your bed. It read 11:37 AM, and on the calendar beside the clock, you found that it was finally a summer's Saturday. As it was a day with no school, work or worries, you decided it was the perfect day to be... well, lazy.

After lying around for a few minutes, listening to the sound of your thoughts and the calming chirps of the birds perching outside, you knew it was about time to get out of bed.

Throwing your thin blanket over to the other side, and stepping out of bed to stretch, you pulled up the blinds. Squinting because of the sudden brightness of the midday sun, you gazed out the window. There was a picture perfect, beautiful, blue sky, decorated with friendly, puffy, white clouds. A soft smile danced across your features. Today was going to be a great day! You knew that even though you missed many hours of the day already, the sunny weather should surely make up for it!

~~~
For a quick breakfast, you grabbed a piece of toast, with [spread] on top. And soon came lunch, you ate your most favourite dish- [fave dish] with a drink of [fave drink].
Whilst eating your lunch, in your pajamas, you gazed at the ticking clock. You figured, since the day had already reached 1 o'clock, you might as well wonder out for a bit, rather than staying at home and wasting the perfect day.
Running upstairs, you found your plain, pastel [fave colour], short sleeved shirt, [blue/grey] denim shorts and accessorised with [fave colour] earrings, a [patterned scarf/fave necklace] and tied your hair in a cute ponytail with a colourful hair-bobble. Not forgetting to brush your teeth, and dolloping some sun-cream on, you happily jogged back downstairs and looked for your sandals.
"Where did they walk off to now?" You asked yourself, rummaging through shoes, "Ah! Got ya!"
After slipping the sandals on quickly, gabbing your phone and keys to put into your back pocket, you steadily opened the door and shut it after letting yourself out. You inhaled the fresh air, maybe you should wonder around town for a bit.
~~~

You looked around town, it was bustling with people! There were market stalls, summer sales, and a long queue for the ice-cream van. You stared at the line, which, to your dismay, was moving very slowly, and spotted a few friends of yours. Alfred, Francis, Ivan and Yao were next in line and just received their ice-creams and ice-lollies. "Hi guys!" You called, happily.

They turned, smiled, waved, and made their way to you.
"Dude! It's so hot! My ice lolly is already melting!" You heard Alfred cry.
"I prefer the snow in Siberia..." You listened to Ivan mumble under his breath.
"Hey," You laughed, "you guys don't seem to be enjoying this weather!"
"Ai yah! [Name]!" Yao complained. "It's too hot, aru!"
"But! [Name], is right, let's not waste this day, non?" Francis said, calming everyone down again, exaggerating and wafting his ice-cream around.
"Thank you Francis! You took the words out of my mouth!" You nodded, patting him on the back, "Hehe! You guys shouldn't waste such a glorious day like this!"

They all turned to you, "What? Like Arthur is?"

When you heard Arthur's name, you felt your heart jump and your face get a little bit warmer. You looked around, oh, you didn't see him with them. "He's wasting the day?"

"Oui, that idiot has kept himself in his house for quite a while now." Francis sighed deeply.
"Maybe he doesn't like us?" Russia smiled, biting his ice-lolly.
"Ah! I heard about that!" Yao exclaimed, clicking his fingers, "Maybe he likes being alone, aru?"
"Maybe he's sick!" Alfred said, a bit hyper actively.
"Yeah... Maybe we should check on him!" They all said simultaneously once again.
"I've got the hamburgers!!" Alfred yelled at the top of his voice. "Hamburgers can help any sickness! Hamburgers!"

Everyone else looked at him, offering a chance for an awkward silence to erupt. "Er.. No." You declined, along with Francis, Yao and Ivan.

"Guys! I highly doubt he's sick." You said, rolling your eyes. "Anyway, if he is, I'll check on him so don't worry!"
"Ok then [Name], we're counting on you!" They smiled, waving good-bye.
"Oh! And if he is ill, feed him a burger, will ya [Name]?" Alfred winked.
"Ai yah! More like 'force feed' him!" Yao laughed. "Nothing can compare to my chinese tasty treats anyway, aru!"
"Ah! Tell him the tres-bien-moi said I hate his ugly face!" Francis chuckled, nodding wisely.
"You guys never change..." You sighed, along with Ivan.

"Alrighty then! I'm off! See ya later you lot!" You cheered, waving and turning to the direction of Arthur's house.

~~~
You finally made your way to Arthur's house, even though it wasn't very far from town, you did feel quite tired. Maybe it was the warm weather taking effect? Anyway, waiting patiently by the door, you knocked and rang the doorbell. Your eyes wondered to the lush bushes and flowers in Arthur's well tended front porch. Growing proudly, red roses at both sides of the door. You wondered if Arthur grew those himself, maybe he had more in his garden?
With a click, you snapped out of your daze, and the door unlocked. A happy, but a bit surprised, Arthur stood there wearing a green apron. "Oh, [Name]!"
You hugged your friend as a greeting, "Hey Arthur! Sorry for dropping by suddenly!"
He rubbed your back, and laughed over your shoulder, "It's quite all right, I don't mind having guests! Come in, come in!" You both pulled apart from one another, and stepped into his house. "Oh, and pardon me! I must reek of cooking!"
"Hm?" You asked, tilting your head slightly, "You've been cooking again?" You were quite surprised, the fire alarm wasn't going off, nor was there a foul smell.
"Oh, yes!" He nodded, signaling you to follow him into the kitchen. "There is nothing better than baking on a sunny day."
"Yeah.." You said, a bit curious. The thing was, nothing smelt foul! You followed him into the kitchen and a pleasant smell over took your senses. "Wow, Arthur! Are these tarts?"
"Haha, yes, I've taken a short break on scones and wanted to try something new!" He smiled brilliantly. "You're in luck, they'll finish cooling soon!"
"Oh, I would love to try them!" You said, staring excitedly at the treat. Oh, music to your ears and good news for your tummy!
The tart was golden yellow, not too pale and not burnt, they were the right colour they were supposed to be! They were professionally decorated with colourful fruits. You saw strawberries, bananas, raspberries, kiwis, blueberries and black berries. Many of the tarts had a different, but neat, combination of the fruits. You just couldn't wait to try them!
"We could sit outside, it's such a lovely day after all!" He chuckled, pointing outside, "There isn't a black cloud out there! No rain for a while, as it seems."
"Oh! Brilliant idea!" You laughed happily. "And, yes, and I hope it stays that way."
"So, let me get the kettle on," He smiled, opening a window slightly and turning on the kettle and chuckling to himself. "You know, [Name], tea always tastes good on a day like this, especially Earl Grey."
~~~

You found yourself sitting under a parasol, gazing out into Arthur's garden. You were instructed to go outside and wait for a bit. Like the front porch, the garden, stunning and divine, was well tended too. Dazzling flowers, different shapes and sizes, gave off a comfortable smell. You inhaled the sweet scent, and looked at the soft blue sky. It seemed as though once you stepped into Arthur's house, you walked into another world. Truly majestic.

"Oh, yes, Flying Mint Bunny!" You heard Arthur say, his voice coming closer, "Maybe I should tell her that..." Yes, he was talking to himself again. "Ok, Unicorn, stop tugging on my arm! Don't worry, I left some pastries in the kitchen for all of you." You giggled, just as he walk out of the house carrying a large tray. "Oh, what's so funny, [Name]?"
"Hm?" You softly giggled, "No, nothing at all!"

Arthur placed down the tray with a smile, taking out a plate filled with tarts and settling it onto the table. He fished out a small tea pot, cup and saucer, and handed you a [cup/glass] of [fave drink]. "[Name], you always drink [fave drink] so..."
You giggled at his thoughtfulness, "It's fine, don't worry! I'm glad you remembered!"

He motioned you to try a tart, and you happily did so. Looks didn't deceive you; the tart was delicious! It was so scrumptious, you found yourself eating some more! Arthur chuckled, taking a sip from his tea cup, "Hm? Does it taste good?" He asked, sounding a bit nervous.
You nodded happily, "It does! It does!" You blushed, embarrassed, you probably sounded so childish in front of Arthur!
He laughed, "I'm glad you thought so!" He gave you a brilliant smile, "If I knew you were coming round, I would've prepared some fish and chips too!"
You giggled along with him, "Well, we should have another day like this then."
"Right!" He agreed, placing down his tea cup. "Sunny days won't last forever."
"Yes! Arthur, let's have another day like this soon!"
"Oh," He lowered his voice, "but not like this, this."
"What do you mean 'like this, this'?" You asked.

"Let's spend a day like this, together, as a couple." Arthur said, gazing into your (e/c) eyes with emerald ones. "N-not as co-workers or friends but as boyfriend and girlfriend."

You felt a flush of heat creep upon your cheeks as you began to slowly process what he just said. You began stuttering, holding your flushed face, "Y-you want to go out w-with me?!"
"If you don't want to, that's all right." He mumbled softly, loosing eye contact with you.

You placed your hand onto his, the one free from the tea cup, a beaming smile tugging at your lips, "Hahah, Arthur! Of course I'd want to!"
"Really?" He said, smiling once more, taking your hand in his.
You nodded, giggling as you took another tart with your spare hand. "I'd love to spend another sunny day with you as my boyfriend, Arthur!"
"It's a promise then?" He laughed, letting go of your hand and holding out his pinky.
"Yep!" You giggled like a child, hooking your pinky onto his.

You spent the whole afternoon outside in the garden, chatting happily to one another, eating more tarts and, well, being a couple! Arthur walked you home holding your hand along the way. You just couldn't wait to have another day like this; another warm, calm, summer's day with Arthur.

:happybounce: I wanted to focus more onto Reader-chan! So, more options for Reader-chan to do! :D :dance:

I used the "~~~" to act like a page break- just in case it was getting too long and Reader-chan wanted a break. I haven't used them before so, I'm not sure...

It's really well written, and has amazing spelling and grammar. It's refreshing to see good grammar every once in a while.
The story, reminded me a bit of old-timey novels like Anne of Green Gables and such with the detail and writing but it's not a bad thing, just not my taste personally.
Oh god I've rambled. Ugh I sound like some fancy-pants book reviewer. Sorry ^u^
