Hetalia: Italy x Reader: A Date with Feli? (2/2)

It was just a day after you went to that Italian restaurant, Vargas Italiano, and met a really sweet man called Feliciano. Actually, you had a date with him today too! You were told to meet outside the restaurant at 7. During the morning, it seemed ever so boring, just doing housework and a lot of grocery shopping tired you out. Time passed by so slowly, you were so relieved it was finally 5 o'clock. Now you could start preparing for your date, but you felt like you were forgetting something. 

You checked your phone after leaving the shower, there were several miss calls from Feliciano. Actually, the phone was still ringing loudly. Without a second to spare, you answered it. You heard Feli's voice over the phone, it sounded like he just ran twenty continuous laps, breathing heavily.

"Ah, bella!" His voice sounding a bit relieved, "I'm-a glad you picked up!"

"Sorry Feli, I was in the shower.." You explained.

"It's-a alright~! It was-a my fault for not-a telling you what I was-a taking you out for!"

"Oh yeah!" You gasped, you were going to get ready but had no idea what the date was! What were you going to wear? You knew you had forgotten something! "Where are we going?" 

"I-a hope you-a don't mind having dinner with me at-a our restaurant.." He said softly across the phone. 

You thought about it for a second. "No, of course I don't mind, silly!" You giggled, "I love going to Vargas Italiano, why would I mind having dinner with you there?"

"E-eh? Really?" 

"Yes." You said simply and laughed, "Sorry, but I have hang up now, I need to get ready for our date." You felt yourself blush, it was odd for you to say that so nonchalantly.

"Ok~! Ciao mia bella~!!"

"Bye~!! See you at 7!" You hung up and sighed, not knowing what to wear for your date.

Looking through your wardrobe, you finally found a perfect dress to wear. You wore a sleeveless black which was decorated with a silver bejeweled belt, and finished it off with a pair of diamond earrings which glimmered every angle you turned and a stylish silver charmed watch. You grabbed a black purse and your shawl before applying light makeup, spraying your favourite fragrance on your neck and fixing your hair for the occasion. You checked your clock, it was 6:30! This left you more than enough time to go to the restaurant. Picking up your purse again, you placed your phone and other necessary things you couldn't live without, and scurried downstairs where you found your coat and [height] heeled, black shoes. With a light slam, you shut the door and made your way to Vargas Italiano.

You heard your purse vibrate, your phone was ringing inside it. It was Feliciano calling and you unconsciously answered it. "Ciao!" You laughed, "Lovely warm night isn't it?" 

"Eh? Bella, are you-a already on your way, isn't-a cold? Do you-a want me to pick you up instead?" 

"No, it's alright Feli, as I said, it is quite warm for a February night and the restaurant isn't very far away anyway!" You said, reassuring him that you'll be alright walking. He was really cute when he worried for you like this; it must've been his adorable, cheerful charm which made you fall for him.

"Ok then ____, if-a you insist~!" He said, softly sighing. 

"Hey wait, Feli, isn't the restaurant open at this time?" 

"Ah, just for our date, I asked if it could be-a closed earlier."

"Really?" You gasped, but it was sweet of him to do that for you. "You didn't have to though Feli.." 

"Oh course! I wanted to-a make our first date-a special, since I-a really like you bella!"

You blushed and felt a warm blush on your cheeks, "T-thank you Feli.."

"It's-a alright bella~!" 

Along the way to Vargas Italiano, you had heart warming conversations with Feli and before you relised it - you were already in front of the grand building. The lights were still open, but it was empty. You stepped in, hearing the bell chime behind you, it was just as Feli said - the shop was close early. But then again, why were the lights open? You just stood, pondering and then the swoosh of the kitchen door dragged you out of your thoughts.  

"Oh." Said a familiar voice which then sighed, "My fratello is upstairs waiting for you ragazza." It was Feliciano's brother, Lovino. He was still dressed in his waiter uniform. 

"O-ok!" You said, embarrassed, thinking you looked like weird for standing there like that. You looked around for the stairs, you didn't even know the restaurant had a second floor. 

"There, you idiot." Lovino said bluntly, rolling his eyes and pointing in the direction of a corner. 

"Er.. Ok. Thanks!" You rushed up the spiral stairs in embarrassment. 

You made it up to the second floor and gasped. It was spacious, as grand as the room below, and had a large window which took up the whole wall. You saw a light brown haired Italian sitting on his own at a table, gazing out to the distance of the city with his head in the palm of his hand, his elbow supporting him. Once he heard your footsteps, he turned and greeted you with a big grin. "Ciao bella~!" He stood up, a kinda gaze on you. He leaned in and gave you a kiss on each cheek. 'That's a greeting they do in Italy right?' You asked yourself, feeling a warm blush creep back to your cheeks.  "You-a smell nice!" He said nonchalantly in your ear, making your blush worsen."May I-a take your coat, bella?" 

"Sure.." You said shyly, unbuttoning your coat which was then slipped off by Feli. "Thank you, Feli." 

"No-a problemo bella!" He grinned, ushering you to your seat. He then placed your coat over the chair and tucked you in once you were seated. 

'He's such a gentleman.. Wow, I never knew..' You thought inside your head. "Lovely view isn't it?" You sighed, gazing out the window.

"Yeah.. But not as-a beautiful as you are ____." He murmured softly. You heard it though, and began blushing. Speaking of which, Feli was looking very handsome dressed up in his tucked in dress shirt, dark tuxedo and matching trousers which both had faint grey pinstripe marks. 

"Ah! I-a hope you don't mind, but I-a ordered you some food already!"

"I don't think I don't mind?" You wondered, "What did you order me?" 

"Well, I ordered the Italiano Special! In-a other words, pasta and a large pizza we can both-a share!"

"Hm, that doesn't sound bad.. ok then, I'll look forward to it!" 

"Sì! I-a look forward to it too, since I am not the one making it this time~"

"Eh? So who is?" Then you remembered Lovino downstairs, "Is that why Lovino is downstairs?"  

Right on cue, Lovino appeared from the stairs holding a large tray of pasta and pizza in one hand and another tray which contained a white wine bottle and a pitcher of [fave juice]. "Ergh." He grumbled, "Oi, stupido fratello, I got your food." He walked to your table, and as you wondered how heavy the trays were, he placed the dishes in front of you and Feliciano. The delicious aroma tickling your senses. "Enjoy-a your food." He said simply, turned around and descended down the stairs. 

"Thank you!" You and Feliciano both yelled.

You looked at each other, smiled and then giggled.

You had a warm chat with Feliciano while eating, the food certainly was appetising and a special, you drank some white wine/[fave juice] along the way. You soon finished your food, and Feliciano asked, 

"Do you-a still have room for desert?" He winked at you, happily stacked away your empty plates and loudly called for his brother. "Fratello!"

This then caused a rather irritated Lovino going up the stairs with one large sundae resting on a tray. It was huge. You were glad you could share it- it would be impossible to eat alone! Lovino settled down the large sunday in the middle of the table, grunting while he took the stacked plates away, "I-a need to be paid for this.." you heard him grumble under his breath.  

He then left, leaving you, Feliciano and the large desert behind. 

"We-a call this The Godmother(copyrights >.<")!" Feliciano proudly said, "With crunchy chocolate balls, smooth cream, warm brownies along with a toffee crunch at the bottom and topped with the finest Vargas Italiano ice cream! Looks delicious, sì?"He took one of the two long spoons, "Don't-a hold back bella~!!"

Your mouth watered, and your eyes did not leave the delicious sight in front of you, while you took the other long spoon. All the way down to the bottom of the sundae was an adventure, the flavours blended together nicely and it made your taste buds long for more. 

"You-a look like you're-a enjoying yourself~!" Feliciano said, gazing at you softly, helping you finish off the large sundae. 

You blushed, "Well, it's really tasty Feliciano and it's like you're spoiling me here too!" You took another scoop of the desert, avoiding Feliciano's eye contact in embarrassment.  

"That's-a the idea~!" Feliciano laughed, causing your blush to worsen. "Why wouldn't I-a spoil a beautiful bella like-a you~?"

You then took a final piece of chocolate brownie, "T-thank you for the meal, Feli." Returning the long spoon back in the large cup which used to contain the desert. You stared, there were a few chocolate balls left but you were far too full - you guessed Feliciano was too.

"You know-a ____." Feliciaino then spoke, getting your attention as he gently touched your hand. "I'm-a glad I sent you that note." He gave you a cute smile.

"I'm happy that you did so!" You smiled back, as if his smile was contagious. "We should so go out another time!"

You saw Feliciano's cheeks suddenly turn pink, and before you knew it, you felt a warm blush on your face too. You guessed you were both surprised at your sudden forwardness. 

He laughed, "You're-a really cute when you blush bella~!" He gazed into your (e/c) eyes and you looked back at his honey brown ones, he gave you a charming smile. 

"Sure, we'll-a go out another time - it's a promise~!"
