You sighed as you sat down on a soft, white chair in an Italian restaurant. Even though this was your favourite restaurant, you felt a bit sick. It was probably because everyone around you had a special someone to spend Valentines' with.
You looked around at the happy couples, the air wasn't the same as it usually was... it was more... lovey. You didn't mind couples, of course, but when they take their time smothering it in your single face - you get really irritated. You just have to tolerate this day and then enjoy 364 days where they won't show off as much.
"Can I-a take your order~?" A waiter said, his italian accent strong. He had reddish brown hair with a curl sticking out near his ears, he also had sweet, kind brown eyes.
"Er.. Yeah," You said, after you realised you were staring at him for quite a while. "I'll order some (fave italian food and drink), please."
"Hey-a bella," He continued, his smile not leaving, "Are you-a here with someone? Everyone seems to-a be with some..." He stopped when he saw your face turn away from his and frown.
"..." You then faked a smile, "No, no one is here with me today, I just love the food here so I had to come!"
"O-oh, I-a see bella." He said, his smile wavered a bit, "I'll bring you your (fave italian food and drink) now~"
"Thanks." You said, a forced smile still on your face.
"Oh, and bella..." He added, "a real smile looks better on a beautiful lady like you~"
Surprised, you looked you looked at the man. You then had a glimpse at his name tag.
"Thanks Feliciano," A real smile returning to your face along with a light blush.
"No-a problem, bella~! Call me Feli next time, sì~?"
"Then you can call me ____, Feli." You added, laughing.
He waved goodbye when you both heard yelling from the kitchen, "I-a have to go now ____, my fratello sounds mad. Ciao~"
You waved back, your face felt hot. What the...? Did you like that cheery Italian?
"Here is-a your food, raggazza." An Italian voice told you.
"Thanks Fel- Eh?" You looked up and it wasn't Feli. However, he looked very similar to him though. He had dark auburn hair and a curl sticking out at the top of his head. He had stern brown eyes.
"I'm not-a Feliciano, idiota." He said with a sigh, as he placed the food in front of you. "Enjoy-a your food."
You couldn't help but look at his name tag, 'Lovino' it read. He really does look like Feli... Maybe they're twins?
"Oi, idiota!" He snapped at you, "How-a long are you gonna stare at me?"
You deeply blushed, you had forgotten to look away.
"Sorry," You apologised, your blush calming a bit, "but you do look a lot like Feli..."
He sighed deeply, "It's-a because we're brothers, stupida, we-a run this restaurant along-a with my grandpa."
"Oh, I see.." You were itching to ask, "Er... Why are you calling me 'girl', 'idiot' and 'stupid' for? I can understand bits of Italian you know."
He growled, irritated, "You-a didn't tell me-a your name, stupida. What-a else shall I call you?"
"Hehe, call me ____, Lovi!" You cheerily smiled at the Italian.
"Oi! D-Don't-a call me that!" He puffed, and before you could apologise, he then quickly added. "Your-a food is getting-a cold."
You looked down, the food was still steaming and the aroma was still there. You looked back up and your eyes met Lovino's.
"A pretty ragazza like you shouldn't-a have to talk to a waiter like-a me for so long." You thought you saw a smile. "Ciao."
He turned and walked away, a hand gripped tightly on a circular black tray where the food once was, and waved at you with the other.
You felt your face burn again. Another blush? Really?
Did you like that snappy Italian?
You tasted the food, it was delicious! The flavour danced on your tastebuds, yum! There was no other restaurant which had food as amazing as this. And so, a while later, you had gobbled all the food up and raised your hand to call for a check.
"Do you want-a check~?" A voice sang behind you.
"Yes please," You nodded, taking out your purse and handing him some money. "€35 right.."
"Y-yes... My name is _____ and you must be Feli and Lovino's grandpa..." You looked closer at the man, "Wait, what?! You're a grandpa?!"
"Sì, I am-a the grandfather of Lovino and Feliciano~" He sighed sadly.
"No way! You look like their brother!!" You said, shocked.
"Here," He said, handing you a folded note.
You opened the neatly folded paper, it was from Lovino/Feliciano.
